 ival in the former Soviet Union. Their music blend
 s klezmer (Eastern European Jewish)\, Balkan\, Rus
 sian\, Roma\, Middle Eastern\, Ukrainian\, and Cau
 casian traditions. While incorporating modern styl
 es and rhythms\, they preserve the acoustic sound 
 of a traditional klezmer wedding orchestra.</p>\n 
 \n <p>Whether performing in a club or on a festiva
 l stage\, Dobranotch can send audiences into a dan
 cing trance. And when they step down from the stag
 e\, they become the orchestra of a magical carniva

 ndering street band in the French city of Nantes i
 n 1998\, they went on to perform at major internat
 ional festivals around the world. They have appear
