 rites such as Sasha Lurje\, Deborah Strauss\, and

  teaching the Advanced Instrumental (Klezmer)\, Ad
 vanced Yiddish Song and Intermediate Yiddish Song 
 workshops\, these outstanding artists present a ri
 ch and varied program that highlights contrasting 
 sides of Yiddish musical culture. The evening feat
 ures songs from the Yiddish theater and popular re
 pertoire made famous by legendary stars of the Yid
 dish stage\, rarely heard songs of Hasidic women a
 s well as traditional and contemporary Yiddish mus
 ic that expands the horizons of klezmer music.</p>

 present\, this concert reveals the remarkable dive
